A headline percentage is only one layer. Compare where the fee sits, what transaction it covers, and which additional costs appear before payout.
Platform comparisons often mix a creator-paid fee, a supporter-paid checkout fee, and a payment-processor fee into one number. That produces confident but incorrect “cheapest platform” claims. Keep the layers separate.

The table does not declare a universal winner because the products do different jobs. A wishlist checkout, a recurring content membership, a commission store, and a creator page connected to DM automation should not be scored as identical products.

Calculate the real monthly cost
A lower percentage is not automatically cheaper
If a hypothetical plan costs $149 per month and lowers the variable fee by three percentage points, the fee reduction alone offsets the subscription after $4,966.67 in monthly qualifying volume. The plan may still be worthwhile earlier if its automation, capacity, or team controls replace enough work.
Use the actual plan price and fee difference. Do not choose a paid tier only because the percentage looks smaller.

Which creator platform has the lowest fee?
There is no single answer across transaction types. Ko-fi can charge 0% on one-time tips in its Free mode, while other Ko-fi revenue types carry 5%. Does a 0% platform fee mean the payment is free?
No. Card processing, currency conversion, payout, tax, chargeback, and subscription costs may still apply. A 0% platform fee describes only one layer.
Why would a creator pay a monthly subscription plus a page fee?
The subscription may pay for other operational value such as DM automation, team controls, higher capacity, or lower variable fees. Compare the combined monthly cost against the workflow it replaces.
